Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) studying for their GCSEs
  • Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

At least 2 years of experience as a tutor or teacher working with SEN students

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience using assistive technology to support learning
  • Work in a school, home or external venue (library)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
