Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across the Kettering area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition either within school settings or in pupils' homes during school hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions based on individual learning needs
- Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities, including SEN
- Build positive relationships to boost pupil confidence and engagement
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
- Follow safeguarding and compliance procedures at all times
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum (Primary and/or Secondary)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Desirable
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing a PGCE
- Experience supporting SEN pupils or those with additional needs
- Subject specialism in English, Maths, or Science
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
