Teaching Personnel are looking for Trainee Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible basis across our fantastic client secondary and SEN schools in Newport.

** This is a flexible role with the option to work between 1 and 5 days per week depending on your own availability. You will be given access to your own online diary to control when you work! **

Teaching Personnel are looking for dynamic and proactive individuals ready to fill in for staff absences at our client schools based in Newport. Our client base includes Seoondary and SEN schools across the Newport area, providing you with the chance to experience a variety of schools based on your preference. Your daily tasks will be diverse and engaging, stepping in for Teaching Assistants who cater to students with a spectrum of additional needs and abilities.

This is a fantastic oppoirtunity to start working as a Trainee Teaching Assistant and build up experience in schools local to you. Many of our Teaching Assistants progress to more stable or permanent positions within these client schools. 

Additional Details:

• Trainee position - No prior school experience needed however must be able to demonstrate transferable skills
• Pay from £12.82 hourly rate
• Free Level 2 CPD Safeguarding Training included.
• Support pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs.
• Enhanced Child Only DBS & EWC Required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
