Are you a graduate with experience working in primary schools and a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

This is a unique opportunity to begin your journey towards becoming a qualified teacher through a fully funded, salaried teacher training programme within a specialist primary SEMH setting in Bournemouth.

We are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and compassionate aspiring teachers who are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of young people. If you already have experience working with children and are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.

You will join a supportive and experienced primary SEMH school team, working full-time alongside skilled educators while completing your teacher training.

Through this salaried route into teaching, you will:

  • Gain valuable hands-on classroom experience from day one
  • Receive ongoing support and mentoring from experienced teachers
  • Complete a fully funded teacher training programme
  • Achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

Following successful completion of the training year, candidates will continue their journey within the school as a qualified teacher for a further two years.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold a degree in any subject
  • Have previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
  • Are passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH needs
  • Are committed to becoming an outstanding teacher
  • Demonstrate resilience, empathy and excellent communication skills
  • Start Date: September
  • Location: Bournemouth
  • Contract Commitment: 3 years (1 year training + 2 years post-qualification)
