An Ofsted rated “good” Secondary School in the LA1 area of Lancaster, Lancashire are looking for a flexible and energetic IT Technician that will promote the smooth running of IT provision across school.  You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the computer systems and networks.

This vacancy exists as a full-time position in April 2024.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A good knowledge of a range of software and operating systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as member of a team, to work unsupervised and to
• work pro-actively.
• Knowledge of network management and windows server would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should also:

• Be a team player
• Have the desire to upskill and support both the learners and colleagues
• Have a warm, approachable manner
