If you're patient, resilient, and passionate about helping young people reach their potential, we'd love to hear from you.

For many pupils in specialist education, success can look different every day.

It might be communicating a thought for the first time, building positive relationships, regulating emotions, or achieving a goal they once found challenging.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be there to support those moments, providing encouragement, consistency, and understanding that helps pupils grow in confidence and celebrate every achievement.

This welcoming specialist school supports pupils aged 4-19 years within a nurturing and inclusive environment designed to meet a variety of communication, sensory, and learning needs.

The school is committed to:

✨ Helping every pupil achieve their personal best

✨ Encouraging confidence and independence

✨ Providing a safe, supportive learning environment

✨ Preparing young people for future success

You'll become part of a collaborative team of teachers, therapists, and support staff who are dedicated to making a positive difference every day.

Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals, you'll support pupils both in and out of the classroom to help them access learning and develop essential life skills.

✅ Provide one-to-one and small-group support

✅ Support pupils to engage with learning activities

✅ Encourage communication and social interaction

✅ Promote positive behaviour through consistency and understanding

✅ Support emotional wellbeing and confidence building

✅ Assist with sensory and learning needs throughout the day

✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
