Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

Academics Ltd are currently working with a secondary school in Crewe who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2026.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and have experience working across KS3 and KS4.

The Role

• Supporting students with additional learning needs
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop their confidence
• Supporting positive behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider school team

About You

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, with children or young people with SEN
• Experience within a secondary school environment is desirable
• Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils is advantageous
• A patient, supportive and proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
