We are looking for a caring, patient and dedicated individual to join our team and provide high-quality support to children and young people with additional needs.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and have a genuine passion for helping them develop, learn and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will provide individualised support, helping children and young people with their educational, social, emotional and personal development.
The role will involve:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
Supporting children with a range of additional needs.
Building positive and trusting relationships.
Encouraging confidence, independence and communication.
Supporting learning and development both in and outside the classroom.
Adapting activities and communication to suit individual needs.
Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
Working alongside teachers, families and other professionals.
Following individual support plans and contributing to progress.
Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment.
