Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming English-medium primary school in CF5, Cardiff.

The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and provide consistent, high-quality support to pupils and teaching staff.

This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA looking for their next long-term role or someone looking for regular work within a local Cardiff primary school.

• Supporting pupils across the primary age range

• Working closely with the class teacher

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required

• Helping pupils stay engaged with their learning

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate

• Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant

• Has experience within a primary school setting

• Is confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities

• Is patient, reliable and proactive

• Builds strong relationships with children

• Works well as part of a wider school team

Relevant qualifications and experience supporting children with additional learning needs would be advantageous.
