Teaching Assistant New

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school in Bovington that supports pupils with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join the team and help pupils feel safe, supported and confident in their learning.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Encourage pupils to engage with their learning.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Help pupils develop independence and confidence.
• Work closely with teachers and other members of the school team.

You don't necessarily need previous school experience. We are also interested in hearing from people with backgrounds in care, youth work, coaching, support work or other roles where patience, communication and resilience are important.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
