We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Dukinfield on a full-time, permanent basis.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Provide additional support to pupils who require extra assistance.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting pupil achievement.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting learning.
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
