We are seeking a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant for a Mainstream Primary School in Leyland. This temp-to-perm position provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive and inclusive educational setting.

In this role, you will support classroom learning while working alongside the SENCO to provide targeted assistance to SEND pupils in KS2. You will be instrumental in helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist SEND pupils in accessing the curriculum.
  • Provide individual and small-group learning support.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCO.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and pupil participation.
  • Support children's academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Teaching Assistant, LSA, or SEND support experience desirable.
