Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 pupil who requires additional academic support to help them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

  • Provide tailored 1:1 academic support for a KS2 pupil.
  • Assist the child in accessing classroom learning and completing tasks.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence within the classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and nurturing learning experience.
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children, preferably within KS2.
  • Possess a patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Be confident supporting children who require additional academic intervention.
  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
