Teaching Assistant

Full-time KS1 teaching assistant –Gosport

Starting September on a long term contract

Pay: £85 - £92 per day

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 

About the role:

A part-time an energetic individual is needed to support between 2 classes of Year R and Year 1 of well-behaved and enthusiastic children. The school is highly regarded in the area and is a thriving 2 form entry primary. 

• Pay: Daily Rate (£85-£92)
• Location: Gosport
• Start Date: September 2026
• Hours: 08:30 - 3:30

Duties may include:

• Supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
• Managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
• Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
• Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
• Reporting back as appropriate using the school’s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising 
• Lunch time duties – supervising children eating and interacting with peers
