Teaching Assistant
An exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant position has become available within a range of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Wigan.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and socially, helping them to reach their full potential in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passionate, patient approach to supporting learning. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly beneficial.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a friendly school environment, with flexible work available to suit your schedule.
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with their day-to-day learning and classroom activities.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, participation, and educational development.
• Supporting children with SEN and additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their individual goals.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
• Earn between £95 and £110 per day, depending on experience and school requirements.
• Opportunities to work in a variety of Ofsted-rated primary schools across Wigan.
• Flexible roles available to suit your availability, whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term, or long-term placements.
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
