Teaching Assistant New

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in the FY3 area of Blackpool.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 1 pupil with Global Learning Delay, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a mainstream classroom setting.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position within a mainstream primary school
• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Global Learning Delay
• Assisting with learning activities tailored to the child's individual needs
• Supporting social, emotional and academic development
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school staff
• Creating a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

This friendly and supportive primary school is located in the FY3 area of Blackpool and has been graded GOOD by Ofsted. The school is committed to ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive and is recognised for its inclusive approach, strong leadership and welcoming atmosphere.

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or support setting
• Knowledge or experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable
• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
