Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely change young lives? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming specialist SEN school in Bournemouth for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic team this September.
This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them to build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Work alongside experienced teachers and therapists to deliver engaging learning activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Adapt learning to meet individual needs and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Has a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
Is patient, empathetic and resilient.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
Has experience working with children or vulnerable adults (desirable but not essential).
Holds a driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
