As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons while providing additional assistance to pupils where required. You will help facilitate classroom activities, encourage active participation, and deliver one-to-one or small group interventions to support pupils in achieving their learning objectives.
The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive and productive learning environment while supporting pupils' academic progress, social development, and growing independence throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Calm, patient, and approachable.
Confident working with Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly those in Year 5.
Comfortable supporting children on an individual basis and in small groups.
A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs is advantageous but not essential.
Applicants must have:
An Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
Current EWC registration.
A minimum of three months' experience working in a school setting or a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
