We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and rewarding environment.
This specialist provision supports students who require a more personalised approach to learning. The setting provides a nurturing environment where young people are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to education and reach their full potential.
The students may have a range of additional needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, behavioural challenges, and difficulties engaging in mainstream education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to create a positive learning environment where young people feel safe, supported, and able to achieve success.

Experience within education is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Youth Workers, Psychology Graduates, Sports Coaches, and other professionals with transferable skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
