We are recruiting a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Leyland on a temporary basis for the Autumn Term, with a minimum commitment of one full term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school community and contribute to the success and wellbeing of pupils across the primary phase.

  • Support children within classroom lessons and learning activities.
  • Deliver focused intervention sessions and small group work.
  • Provide additional support to pupils who require extra assistance.
  • Assist teachers in maintaining an engaging learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
  • Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role.
  • Understanding of the primary curriculum is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent hourly rate of £14.25 - £16.00.
