We are currently recruiting a motivated Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a mainstream primary school in Leyland for the Autumn Term 2026.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils and teaching staff, helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

  • Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Assist pupils with learning activities and interventions.
  • Support students on both an individual and group basis.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to pupils' academic and personal development.
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar.
  • Experience working with children in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, enthusiastic, and caring nature.
  • Commitment to supporting children's educational success.
