Supply Desk are seeking a 1:1 Teaching assistant for the central Southampton area

September 2026 - term contract

Pay: *up to £15 ph (dependant on experience)

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Job Description:

• 1:1 supporting a child with additional needs
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Pay: *up to £15 ph (dependant on experience)
  • Location: Southampton
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
  • Hours: Full time
  • Some experience of phonics would be an advantage but not essential

Individual Profile:

• UK school-based experience mandatory
• Good subject knowledge
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Intervention experience preferred
