Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool from September 2026.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment.

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
  • Supporting children both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assisting with learning activities and promoting engagement.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans.
  • Supporting pupils with personal care needs where required.
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Has experience working with children with SEN, either in schools or other support settings.
  • Is comfortable providing personal care.
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Is reliable, committed, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
