Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant position has become available in the Warrington area for a September 2026 start.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring students who require additional support in their studies. As this often includes SEN students, the ideal candidate will have relevant experience and knowledge to support them effectively. This is a great opportunity to gain further skills and experience in a supportive and friendly environment, with flexible work available to fit your schedule.

Specifically, this role will be working with Year 6 students and candidates are preferably familiar with this curriculum. 

  • Working with 1:1 or small groups, you will be assisting students with their day-to-day schoolwork.
  • You will be enthusiastic and patient, enabling students to understand content to the best of their ability.
  • This may include supporting SEN students, so experience working with young people with additional needs is essential.
  • Earn between £95 and £110 per day, depending on experience and demand.
  • Work within an Ofsted ‘Good’ rated, modern Primary School, with opportunities to start as soon as possible.
  • Successful applicants may be offered the chance to secure a permanent position in the new academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
