This position is ideally suited to someone who already has experience within SEND education and is confident stepping straight into a busy, rewarding environment. We're looking for professionals who can hit the ground running, demonstrate initiative and provide outstanding support to pupils with additional needs from their very first day.

You'll work as part of a dedicated staff team, helping pupils engage with learning, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.

Building trusting relationships will be at the heart of your role, ensuring pupils feel supported, understood and encouraged throughout their educational journey.

Responsibilities will include assisting teachers with classroom activities, supporting individual pupils and small groups, implementing personalised learning strategies, promoting positive behaviour, encouraging social development and adapting your approach to suit a range of learning needs. You'll help create a structured, engaging and inclusive environment where pupils can flourish.

No two days are ever the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is passionate about making a lasting impact.

  • Previous experience working within specialist or SEND education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A calm, patient and encouraging nature.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset.

We're searching for someone who is reliable, committed and eager to contribute positively from the outset.

When you join Teaching Personnel, you'll benefit from competitive weekly pay, ongoing guidance from your own dedicated consultant, free CPD courses and professional development, access to the MyTP portal, pension contributions where applicable, flexible career opportunities and the chance to progress into long-term or permanent positions.

If you're ready to make a genuine difference and have the experience we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
