A large, inclusive, and well‑resourced academy with strong community values, extensive facilities, a wide curriculum, and excellent SEND support integrated across the school rather than through a designated unit is seeking a creative and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join their team!

The Role

You will be responsible for working alongside the classroom teachers to support the students learning. As a teaching assistant you will be working with individuals or small groups in the school’s specialist learning support areas as well as supporting within the mainstream classrooms, making a real difference to the students and their progress!

• Able to support students to access mainstream lessons across the school
• Able to develop an understanding of the needs of the students you are supporting
• Flexible and adaptable to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department
• Can work calmly under pressure
