Teaching Assistants – SEMH Specialist School (Primary Age 5–11)

Are you a compassionate, resilient, and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs?
We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEMH school supporting pupils aged 5–11. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals who understand the importance of trauma-informed practice and are motivated to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people who need it most.
About the role
You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils who may have experienced trauma, disrupted attachments, and challenges with behaviour and emotional regulation. Your role will be key in helping to create a safe, predictable, and nurturing environment where children feel understood, supported, and ready to learn.
This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent role following a successful initial period.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
