Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for new opportunities? A progressive trust of primary schools in the Wigan area is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team. Starting in September 2024, there are plenty of opportunities for both full-time and temp-to-perm roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons and interventions.
  • Work with small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis to enhance learning.
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school activities and events, contributing to the school community.
  • Collaborate with teachers to support students with special educational needs.

We also work with many secondary schools in the Wigan area who are always in need of full-time support staff to join them and support students in their development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
