Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a lovely primary school in Blackpool. We are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to join this school on a part-time basis after the Easter holidays. You would be primarily involved with the EYFS department of this fantastic school. This role does have the potential to turn into a full-time position for the right TA.

Responsibilities of the role:
Small Group Instruction: Conducting small group phonics instruction sessions with students who may need additional support or enrichment in phonics skills.

Assisting in the preparation of instructional materials, such as phonics games, flashcards, worksheets, and other resources to support phonics instruction in the classroom.

Assisting with phonics assessments, including administering, scoring, and recording student performance data to help track progress and identify areas for intervention.

Collaborating with teachers to implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of students in phonics learning.

This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their EYFS department, mainly within Nursery. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. 

Requirements for the role:

- Phonics trained 

- Excellent behaviour management skills

- Experience working across EYFS or KS1
