Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and providing support to students
  • Help students with their learning, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills
  • Build strong working relationships with students to support their academic progress
  • Demonstrate patience and empathy in working with students who may require additional assistance
  • Undergraduate Degree in Education or related field
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Reside in South Manchester for easy commute

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable

  • Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of educational best practises
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Temporary position with the potential for extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
