Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant in Manchester Primary School

Location: M14

An excellent primary school in the M14 area are recruiting for a Key stage 2 Teaching Assistant. This vibrant school embraces diversity and inclusivity and takes an adaptive learning approach for SEND pupils, offering a monthly coffee morning for parents of children with autism.  With a ‘ GOOD’ Ofsted rating in all areas, the school has a very strong community ethos where the school work closely with parents/ carers to ensure children are at the heart of everything they do. The school celebrates 70% of the pupils having English as an additional language and so, bilingual applicants will be of interest.

About the role:

-          Monday – Friday – term time only

-          Key stage 2 class

-          Supporting the pupils (1:1 & groups)

-          Helping the teacher with work preparation

-          Encouraging and supporting children to stay on task

-          Helping manage the classroom environment

-          Languages spoken, Somali, Swahili and Urdu

About you:

-          Kind and nurturing nature

-          Passionate about making learning fun

-          Speaks another language

-          Experience in behavioural management techniques
