The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team for the academic year starting in September 2024 and ending in July 2025. In this role, you will work closely with our KS2 teachers to support classroom activities and provide personalized assistance to students to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those who need additional help.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with their social and emotional development.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and safety of the students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a KS2 setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience and empathy towards students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
