EYFS Teaching Assistant in Salford Primary School

Location: M3

Are you passionate about supporting children to make a strong start to their learning in early years? This may be the role for you! An excellent primary school in Salford are recruiting for a EYFS teaching assistant. This school, rated as ‘ GOOD’ by Ofsted,  prides themselves on providing exciting new learning activities,  capturing the children’s interest, and helping them develop positive attitudes to learning.  The children at this school settle quickly due to the highly nurturing environment and caring staff.

About the role:

-          249 pupils ranging from 3-11

-          Working within EYFS , specifically within the reception class

-          Supporting pupils both on a 1:1 and group basis

-          Monday – Friday , term time only

-          Helping the teacher with both preparation of the work and managing the class environment

About you:

-          Nurturing nature

-          Ability to make learning fun!

-          Be patient, supportive and empathetic

-          Ability to use various techniques to support children in managing behaviour

-          Experience in letters and sound phonics would be beneficial within this role
