Are you passionate about pursuing a role within a primary school? Teaching Personnel are working within an excellent primary school to recruit for a Key Stage 1 Teaching assistant in the Salford area. This excellent Primary School, rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED prides itself on its 5 core values including, faith, wisdom, aspiration, community and compassion and offers an empathetic, respectful environment, placing emphasis on  the importance of welcoming diversity, integrity and practising faith.

About the role:

-          315 pupils ages 5-11

-          Key stage 1 class

-          Monday-Friday, term time only

-          Supporting the class teacher with work preparation

-          Helping the teacher in managing the class environment

-          Working with specific children that require extra support with their academic work within the classroom

-          Supporting children to stay on task

About you:

-          Happy to get involved in fun activities for the pupils to stay engaged for example music, sports, and arts.

-          Be patient and resilient.

-          Experience in practicing behaviour management strategies

-          Nurturing personality
