The PWR team is working in close partnership with a distinguished SEN Multi-Academy Trust, renowned for its exceptional commitment to providing high-quality education to children with diverse and complex needs. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their esteemed school located in Brampton.

Recognised as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, the school specialises in supporting children with complex needs, with a particular focus on Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students with complex needs, including those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons under the guidance of qualified teachers.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment, promoting the well-being and positive behaviour of all students.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement personalised learning plans.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, contributing to the ongoing assessment and evaluation process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience working with children with complex needs, particularly those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, is desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
