Our school is looking for an individual to integrate themselves into a classroom as SEN support. This role is to work 1 to 1 with a pupil in the classroom to manage behaviour. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils’ education. As a school our pupils with their families are our priority to ensure we are working in harmony to create a positive learning environment, we expect all our staff to share this ethos.  

The ideal candidate:

  • Implement positive behaviour management.
  • Work well with the classroom teacher.
  • Will have experience supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Confidently adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
  • Show a positive attitude.
  • Be reliable.
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
