Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants for Primary schools in Accrington. The roles are to commence as soon as possible. This will be on an initially temporary basis, with the view to be made permanent.

  • Full time & Part time positions available
  • Competitive rates, £12.90 - £15 per hour dependant on experience
  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you would be required to:

  • Assist the classroom teacher with delivery of lessons.
  • Support pupils when required within a class of 28-31 pupils.
  • Assist in the management of behaviour.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to provide extra support in the core subjects, Numeracy, Literacy.

The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils’ education.
