KS2 Teaching Assistant – Preston

 

A large Primary School in Preston are in need of a strong general Teaching Assistant to offer support to the Year 5 class Teacher.

Details of the Role:

  • Start date: June 2024
  • Full Time: Mon- Fri
  • Working Hours: 08:45 – 15:20
  • Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour.

This is a fantastically welcoming and inclusive Primary School that aim to make all staff members feel like a crucial part of their team. The Head Teacher has shared that, in a drive to help pupils achieve their maximum potential, they are investing in support staff to ensure that all children get the required help they may need. Due to this school’s catchment area, pupil behaviour can be disruptive and challenging, and the KS2 class is particularly demanding. As a result, the Senior Leadership Team have stated that they are only considering candidates with experience working with SEN pupils and have strong behaviour management.

Requirements on the candidate:

  • Must be level 2 qualified.
  • Must have strong behaviour management.
  • Must have experience working in the Primary Setting.
  • Must have experience working with Pupils with SEN/challenging behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
