SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school

ASAP Start - temp to perm contract

£80 - £100 per day/ £400 - £500 per week (Dependent on experience)

Reeson education are looking for teaching assistants like you to support children within mainstream primary schools with special needs. Primary schools across London have children within the early years, KS1 and KS2 with special needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH (social emotional mental health) and more who need dedicated members of staff to support their learning and development.

You will:

• Support a child 1:1 within the classroom with their learning
• Managing behaviour
• Reporting back to senior staff members including the SENCO, therapists and parents
• Supporting the classroom teacher where needed.

This is the opportunity to work closely with a child who needs your support, you will be able to become part of their education journey and for the right teaching assistant this role will be incredibly rewarding.

Our primary schools are looking for:

• People who are passionate, caring and have a desire to make the difference.
• Ideally the successful teaching assistant will have a relevant qualification/degree, some experience supporting the vulnerable or working with children.
• You will need a can do attitude, be able to work off your own initiative and be able to build strong and respectful relationships.
