Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with several Schools in the Weymouth area who require support from Teaching Assistants on a Supply / Cover and Ad-hoc basis.

If you have a background in care or have worked with children in a professional or personal capacity, we want to hear from you! Teaching Assistant Role is great for someone who is looking for less hours and more control over the days they are at work! Whether you have worked as a baby sitter, support worker, class teaching assistant or summer camp instructor yu will have the right experience to work as a TA in a school.

Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with pupil engagement.
• Helping deliver and explain lesson plan to those who may need extra support.
• Working 1:1 with pupils that might require extra encouragement. 
• Guiding pupils in creative learning. 

Qualifications/requirements:

• Experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding.
• Personal or professional experience with children with SEN.
• Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service (TP can Assist with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
