Hours: 830am – 330pm

Pay Rate: £85 per day.Top of Form

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Abergavenny, catering to students aged 11-16. Located in the heart of Abergavenny, the school offers convenient access from the A40 and reliable public transportation options.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups. You will play a vital role in assisting the teacher with classroom setup and creating a supportive learning environment. Building strong relationships with students, including those with Additional Learning Needs, will be key in this role.

While previous experience in education is beneficial, it is not a requirement. We are looking for individuals with a passion for learning and a willingness to work in the education sector. Becoming a Teaching Assistant can be a highly rewarding and fulfilling opportunity for the right candidate!

Requirements

  • Enhanced Childs DBS & Update Service registration.
  • Living in the UK.
  • Registered with EWC.
  • Able to provide 2 references.
  • Level 2 Safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
