Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant in Chichester (PO19) 

A warm, welcoming school in Chichester is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 3 class. The role will start on a full time basis from April 2024 and is needed until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
  • Assist with the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Lead intervention groups for core subjects where appropriate
  • Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or SEN would be beneficial but not essential
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and, most importantly, little learners
