The Role: Primary/Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

We work with outstanding SEN schools located in Rugby, Coventry, Nuneaton and Henley in Arden and they're looking for ambitious individuals for the position of SEN  Teaching Assistant. These individuals will have access to exceptional training, mentorship from professionals and the rewarding aspect of supporting young students during some of the most crucial years of their lives (ages 6 - 15).

An average day for a SEN Teaching Assistant would be as follows:

  • Intervention 1:1 & group with students with SEN - Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Behavioural Needs
  • Report taking - building up a report for specific students to monitor progression & performance
  • Liaising with SENCO's, Therapists, SLTs & parents to understand how to best support student(s)
  • Paid £83 - £100 a day

The Schools: Primary/Secondary Teaching Assistant

The schools we work with are easily accessible by public transport (bus & train), as well as on-site parking for drivers. These SEN schools have previously provided great benefits to psychology, sociology and criminology graduates in using the opportunity to progress into further positions, such as an Assistant Psychologist, Lead SEN TA, Behavioural Therapist & many more. There is also the opportunity for Teacher Training at the schools for anyone who would like to progress as a Teacher.
