The school is in the heart of Blackpool, easily accessible by public transport and has parking. There is a strong emphasis on creating an inclusive environment where every child's unique needs are considered, and efforts are made to support diverse learning styles. The Head Teacher would like the successful candidate to start full-time in April and will work alongside the Teacher in a KS2 class.

What does the role involve?

  • Work closely with the Key Stage 2 teaching team to provide targeted assistance to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of interactive and stimulating activities that promote a love for learning among students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a cohesive learning community.
  • Be flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of the classroom, assisting in creating an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.

To be considered for the role, you must:

  • Have previous experience working in a school setting or with children is advantageous, but a passion for education and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
  • Collaborate and work harmoniously within a team, contributing to a positive and supportive educational community.
  • Demonstrate a patient and compassionate approach to understanding the diverse needs of students.
