The School boasts a 68 acre farm to include Equine assisted learning. The farm is an alternative provision therapy farm. This facility is located in Maiden Bradley and allows students the opportunity to explore subject paths which would otherwise not be available to them. This includes the likes of animal care, horticulture, construction and forest school, as well as sporting activities, and extra classrooms for more academic subjects.

We are looking for someone to work on the farm site.

About the students

This unique setting caters for students with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs) SEMH and Early life trauma.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or adults with special needs or mental health experience. We will also consider those with personal and voluntary experience in this area
  • Has a passion for spending time outside, it would be an added bonus if you have experience with outdoor education or forest schools but this is not essential
  • Drives and has access to a vehicle as the school is not easily accessed with public transport
  • Is empathetic, compassionate, resilient and adaptable
  • Has a great sense of humour

Other information

This is a full time position, starting ASAP. There is opportunity for permanent and temporary employment.

All applicants must be able to work the below hours, term time only:

  • Monday 8:30 – 16:30
  • Tuesday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:00
  • Friday 08:30 – 15:30

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
