Our client secondary school in Salford is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their support department, assisting pupils aged 11-16 with varying levels of learning ability.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant
  • Earn between £1500 - £1700 per month, dependent on experience
  • Immediate Start
  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs

To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate will have some experience supporting children and young adults with additional learning needs or transferrable experience to work. This would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate student looking for their first role within this field however, any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist pupils who require additional support due to additional learning needs.
  • Working alongside other TA’s and senior leaders.
  • Receive support and training to gain further experience working within this field.
  • Monitor pupils’ progress, reporting back to senior members of staff.

 

Our client school is easily accessible from areas around Greater Manchester such as the M62, A56, M66 and A58. Additionally, for Candidates who do not drive public transport links are available from surrounding areas like Bolton, Rochdale and Heywood
