SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Details:

SEN Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), assisting with their academic and social development
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with ASC
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
• Use strategies and interventions to support student's communication, sensory, and behavioural needs

SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education or autism support is advantageous
