Teaching Personnel are currently working with a client school in the Bishop Auckland area to recruit for a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. As a teaching assistant, you will be required to work with children in small groups and also on a 1:1 basis where students may be require additional support. The successful candidate will be friendly, adaptable and enthusiastic about teaching and supporting students with their studies and extra curricularly.
Full-time teaching assistant
Available to start April 2024
Daily pay rates - £80 - £100 per day
Responsibilities:
Assist and support with the development and learning of students within the school.
Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to their requirements for the day.
Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained.
Be responsible for ensuring school policies are upheld including behaviour policies.
Key Skills Include:
SEN Experience or willing to work with children who have SEN.
Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
Professional manor
Enthusiasm and friendly approach
Experience or knowledge within special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
