Position: 1:1 Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

Location: NP4

Hours: 8:30-3:30 (Monday to Friday)

Pay: Minimum £12.82 per hour

Start: 8th April 2024

Teaching Personnel are looking for a fluent Welsh speaker to join us as a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil that has additional learning needs (ALN). We’re looking for a teaching assistant to closely support the pupil, ensuring that they stay engaged. The schools works hard to ensure each student has the ability to learn and grow into confident young people.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fluent Welsh Speaker
  • Enhanced Child only DBS that is registered with the Update Service
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • 2 Professional Based References

Responsibilities:

  • Possess a positive and proactive mentality - creating an engaging and nurturing environment for children to develop and grow
  • Encourage the pupil to develop their social and emotional needs
  • Build a trustworthy relationship with the pupil, adapting to situations as they arise
