Trainee Teaching Assistant – Manchester (M9)

 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Manchester (M12) to source the right individual to start a career within Primary Education as a Teaching Assistant. The role is full time and a start date as soon as possible. This role is ideal for an individual who has maybe previously worked with children or young people in a different setting, such as a nursery or within the care sector and is looking to gain experiences within schools.

Within this role you will be offering general support to the class teacher and pupils of the class by helping out with preparation of class work, helping pupils closely with their work and generally support the day to day running of the class with direction from the teacher.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is desired
  • Have a nurturing personality with the view that learning should be FUN!
  • Be able support children with class work, including maths and literacy, KS1.
  • Be confident in following the lead of the class teacher to support with managing behaviour.
